October 20, 2017 - More than 1,000 perennials were staged at the Campus Memory Garden on Thursday Oct. 19, and later laid out in the garden to be ready for planting day on Friday, Oct. 20. Theatre major Andy Walsh helped other grounds crew staff members and garden volunteers place the plants in the garden.
By the end of the day, most of the plants were laid out and ready to be planted in. Grounds crew had also installed the entrance signage for the garden — the copper plaque with the signage verbiage will be added by the time the garden is dedicated on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 12:30 p.m.

Planting days have been scheduled for Friday, Oct. 13, 1-4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m.-noon. If you would like to help, please contact email@example.com. The garden dedication is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 7, at midday.
