The staff at University Health and Counseling services, located in the Ambrose Health Center building on Starin road on campus, specializes in the unique needs of college students and offers a wide range of services including treatment for illnesses, minor injuries, STI testing, trans health, contraceptives, and more. WEA Trust no longer offering health insurance
Members who currently have health coverage through WEA will continue to have coverage with WEA through Dec. 31, 2022. Members who currently have coverage through WEA will need to select a new health plan during Open Enrollment between Sept. 26 and Oct. 21, 2022.

Faculty/staff role updates
Recreation Sports and Facilities is thrilled to announce the hiring of Jake Williams and Jake Shafer, respectively, as our new men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball coaches. Both are former Warhawks who won national championships as students. Williams is a two-time Paralympic gold medalist who holds a B.S. in health, human performance and recreation. In addition to coaching, Shafer, who holds a B.S. in education, health and human performance, will serve as equipment manager of the Williams Center.
