Training & Policies

For Animal Research - you must complete CITI training for the following course:                                  

     "Working with the IACUC Course"

     One or more of the "Species Appropriate" modules depending upon the animals in your research.

     And we encourage the "Minimizing Pain and Distress" module applicable to your research.

 (Minimally, you must have the "Working with the IACUC Course" and one "Species Appropriate" module.)

Please note:  You will not be able to access Cayuse IRB for at least 48 business hours once you have completed the required training (listed above).

Training Site for Cayuse is https://uww-t.Cayuse424.com/

Sign in with your UWW email address in all lower case and use catcat as the password.  You can also sign in as "faculty", "investigator", "manager".  If you are a Department Chair or Dean you can sign in as "chair".  If you are on the IRB you can sign in as  "board".

Individualized training can also be scheduled. We are also available to come to classrooms or group settings when you regularly meet.  Email requests to orsp@uww.edu.  Laptops are encouraged to be brought to the training sessions. Limited space for each session.
