The ideal candidate combines a commitment to Graphic Design and/or Media Arts and Game Development with a strong interest in a traditional fine arts studio area.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Beth Blumberg Scholarship&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This scholarship is available to Art and Design majors who are either current or continuing Freshman. The scholarship is to encourage students at the beginning of their academic careers and in the early stage of their development as artists.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Mark Pal&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;m&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;er Gray, Jr. Endowed Art&amp;nbsp;Scholarship&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support to deserving, talented and promising art students at UW-Whitewater. The candidate(s) may be an accepted freshman at the time of application but must have an intention to declare a major within the Department of Art and Design. Minimum 2.5 CUM GPA.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Edna Grinstead&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This scholarship is available to Art and Design majors. It is intended to support and encourage students with both artistic talent and commitment to successful academic performance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Excellence in Printmaking&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This scholarship is available to Art and Design majors. Preference is given to students with a demonstrated expertise in the printmaking.&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mary Weiser Art Scholarship&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This scholarship is available to Art and Design majors. It recognizes and awards academic excellence in creative art forms or art history.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Raymond E &amp;amp; Zenobia R Light Memorial&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;The selection of the recipient of this scholarship will be based upon the quality of demonstrated performance or achievement as an arts major. Contact department for discipline specific submission requirements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Roberta Avonn Fiskum&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This scholarship is available to Art and Design majors who are either BA or BFA with Graphic Design emphasis. Students must demonstrate excellence in the field of Graphic Design through their portfolio. One or multiple scholarships may be awarded in an academic year.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Patty Stricker Scholarship&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This scholarship shall be made only to students enrolled at the UW-Whitewater who have a declared major in the College of Arts and Communication's Department of Art and Design. The Candidate must be in their third year (at a minimum) of their undergraduate career at the time of the award. Decision Factors: Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA, Financial Need, Demonstrated creative talent, Engagement in the creation of original artwork.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Stacia Lane Endowed Art&amp;nbsp;Scholarship&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;This Scholarship shall be awarded to a student with a declared major within the Department of Art and Design. Preference will be given to a student who has&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;completed six (6) credits in painting.&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;The&amp;nbsp;scholarship&amp;nbsp;shall be awarded every year to candidate of&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;junior or senior status&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;with 2.5 CUM GPA.&lt;/p&gt;</AccordionContent>
