Withdrawal after starting the program <p>Once you&rsquo;ve arrived at the program site and have begun the program, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind, except in extraordinary circumstances beyond students&rsquo; control, such as a serious injury or illness, natural disaster, or political instability at the program site that necessitates early departure. In these cases, any recoverable costs may be refunded, and the Center for Global Education&nbsp; will also advise students on the possibility of making insurance claims through our <a href="https://www.culturalinsurance.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">insurance provider, CISI</a>.</p> <p>UW-Whitewater publishes withdrawal deadlines for tuition refunds that apply to students who withdraw from study abroad programs that charge UW-Whitewater tuition.
