<p>The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Department of Leadership, Military Science and Aerospace Studies develops students to become leaders in the Army, Air Force or civilian career fields. The three paths to obtaining a minor in leadership are aligned with those career paths.</p> <p>The department functions as both a curricular and co-curricular program which emphasizes experiential and collaborative learning. The leadership program provides external training and educating opportunities that build character and competencies in our students. Diversity in thought, ideas and solutions is a primary focus for our department to aid in the future leader's ability to solve complex worldly problems.</p> <p>The Leadership, Military Science and Aerospace Studies Department molds quality leaders who leave the program prepared to serve as leaders in the community. Our students learn to lead from the front in today's workplace and in the military.</p> False
