Exchange students

<p>The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater welcomes students from our international partners to study with us for a semester or academic year. We are happy you’re considering UWW! <p>You should apply as an international exchange student if:</p>
<ul>
<li>You are not a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident</li>
<li>You are nominated by one of UW-Whitewater’s exchange partners</li>
<li>You have completed at least one year of university studies before starting the exchange</li>
<li>You do not plan to pursue a degree at UW-Whitewater</li>
</ul>
Online application

<ul>
<li>Submit application first and then send the supporting documents. That would facilitate the processing of all the materials.</li>
<li>Make sure your name on the application is the same as it appears on your passport.</li>
<li>Make sure the permanent home address is your home country address even if you currently live in the U.S.</li>
<li>Your mailing address can be your U.S. address if you have one.</li>
<li>If you do not have a social security number (SSN), you can leave that field blank.</li>
