<p>Not only do we publish in academic journals, but we’re committed to our “public scholar” reputation by informing the community about important developments in the field.</p>
<p>As an example of the continued practical research happening in our department, we received an NEH grant for a water-humanities integration project, involved various UW-Whitewater faculty members and students. One of our professors was awarded a Wisconsin Teaching Fellow and Scholarship to support his efforts in curriculum development.</p>
