Chancellor’s Award for Inclusive Excellence by a Team/Unit/Program
<p>This award recognizes a group of faculty and/or staff who have demonstrated sustainable positive impact on inclusivity, leading to positive institutional change. It celebrates any collaborative effort or partnership within the greater UW-Whitewater community.</p>
<p>The addition of this award to existing individual inclusivity awards is aligned with UW-Whitewater’s strategic plan. By recognizing team-based initiatives, we seek to deepen a culture of collaboration in pursuit of creating an inclusive environment for success.</p>
<p>Teams are not limited to formal organizational units and may include academic departments, centers, committees, or other working groups. Up to two teams may be recognized each year.</p>
<p>Selection criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>Sustainable positive impact on equity and inclusion, leading to positive institutional change</li>
<li>Accountability through routine assessment and use of feedback</li>
<li>Intersections across multiple sections of inclusion</li>
<li>Improved student academic performance and/or faculty/staff success</li>
<li>Collaborations with other UWW units and/or community partners</li>
<li>Work aligns with UWW’s mission and strategic plan</li>
