Media arts and game development major and Roberta’s Art Gallery employee Brian Michael, has created an art calculator which helps hang art on the wall so the art is perfectly spaced and hung.

The Warhawk Pantry, located in room 143 of Drumlin Hall, provides a respectful, safe and inclusive environment for students and others to obtain food, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, school supplies and information about other resources available to them. A little free pantry is accessible 24/7 as well.

Kudos to " Will & the Rockers" from UW-Whitewater at Rock County and members of Whitewater PSE, who helped to raise money for Project 16:49, a transitional housing program for homeless youth. Both teams performed at the Lip Sync Battle in Janesville on March 4. Read more »
Kudos to Jon Spike, coordinator of instructional technology and integration services in the College of Education and Professional Studies, who recently launched his first commercial board game, Gamestormers. In the game, players aim to design the best five-card game narrative, trying to either earn the most votes or score the most points for their creation. The Association for Graduate Students of Color, in collaboration with Black Student Union, will be hosting our annual Light the Night event, which will take place 4:30-5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 15, on the UC South Mall. This event was created to provide a space for students, faculty, staff and community members to acknowledge and pay respects to individuals we may have lost on campus or personally.

Since 2002, Gabriel Sanchez has been portraying Prince in his critically acclaimed show The Prince Experience. What started off as a small local theater production of Purple Rain has expanded into what has become a night of unbelievable entertainment that keeps anyone who has seen it talking long after the last encore is played. Shinhoster Wins Second Consecutive National Title
Management major Jaritt Shinhoster successfully defended his national title to claim the crown at 184 pounds once again at the 2023 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships in Roanoke, Virginia.
Patzka, Holland Claim National Titles as Warhawk Men Finish 8th, Women 23rd
Christian Patzka, a history major, captured the national title in the 5,000 in championship record time.
Gracie Holland, a human performance major, secured the gold in the pole vault.

Final Four Bound: Warhawk Men Punch Ticket to Fort Wayne
The men's basketball is still dancing as they knocked off sixth-ranked Oswego State 77-74 in Ashland, Virginia Saturday evening. The Warhawks' Cinderella season will continue in Fort Wayne, Indiana in the Final Four. UWW will play the second of the two semifinals Thursday, March 16 against Mount Union. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Freeze Fest
Don’t miss out, as “Freezin’ for a Reason” returns to Whitewater beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18. This event will take place at Cravath Lakefront Park and will feature a chili cook-off, Polar Plunge, live music, hot cocoa, and more. The Polar Plunge aims to raise $200,000 that will support the athletes of Special Olympics Wisconsin.

Free spaghetti meals
All are welcome! Free spaghetti meals are offered 5-6 p.m., every Monday at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Whitewater. You may pick up the meal at the 133 S. Franklin Street entrance. If you need more than one meal to get you through the week, you are welcome to more meals.
The Community Space
The Community Space, located at 834 E. Milwaukee Street in Whitewater, Wisconsin, provides food, clothing, furniture and more. Hours are Tuesdays, 8:30-11 a.m., Wednesdays 3:30-7 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to noon. All are welcome.
