Appeals for Reinstatement / Exceeding 15 units / Academic Forgiveness
November Cycle (Readmits only):
Appeals due: by noon on the Monday after Thanksgiving
Notification: via email by noon on that Wednesday
January Cycle:
Appeals due: by noon on the 2nd Monday in January
Notification: via email by noon on that Wednesday
June Cycle:
Appeals due: by noon on the 2nd Monday in June
Notification: via email by noon on that Wednesday
August Cycle:
Appeals due: by noon on the Monday that is 2 weeks before Labor Day
Notification: via email by noon on that Wednesday

Note: All appeals must be submitted via email to the Academic Standards Office by noon on the above dates. Late appeals will not be accepted. If you have sat out for at least one semester, you must also apply as a re-entry student through the Admissions Office. Students do not need to appeal to the Academic Standards Office to take winterim or summer courses. Finally, students should check their WINS homepage to get information about holds on their academic record, or their "to do" list.
