Technology Training

If you want to learn new technology skills, the ICIT Training and Advancement team has the answer. There are numerous software training and documentation options for UW-Whitewater employees, with a focus on the software used in administrative offices throughout campus.

In addition, live, hands-on, training seminars for the following are offered at no cost regularly throughout the year:

  • Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 7)
  • Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Google Apps for Education
  • Cisco
  • Mac OS X

You can easily view and register for classes at: signup.uww.edu

If you need custom consulting and training service, this is also available from ICIT for university departments across campus. This service is aimed to help your departments find the best software solutions to meet their specific needs. Small-group training sessions can be customized to cover topics relevant to your team’s software usage and available schedule.
