Organic Chemistry Boot Camp
Organic Chemistry Boot Camp is offered on an accelerated schedule with multiple hours of instruction and lab over 10 full days. This 2-credit course provides the synthetic organic chemistry laboratory experience needed for chemistry and science majors, and pre-professional majors in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and chiropractic. The course also serves as a laboratory experience for students who are taking organic chemistry lecture at small campuses via distance education but who do not have access to laboratory instruction, as well as other students who have been unable to complete organic chemistry laboratory
Organic Chemistry Boot Camp includes reactions and techniques typically covered in two semesters of organic chemistry lectures. It is highly recommended that students successfully complete both semesters of organic chemistry lecture courses prior to taking this course.

Course
Organic Chemistry Boot Camp is hosted at various University of Wisconsin locations, which vary by semester. Possible locations are:
- UW-Milwaukee at Waukesha
- UW-Platteville
- UW-Whitewater
- UW-Whitewater at Rock County
Tuition for the course is $795 ($397.50 per credit). There may be additional costs or fees for textbooks, course materials, supplies, etc.

It is highly recommended that students complete both Organic Chemistry I & II lecture courses before taking the Organic Chemistry Boot Camp lab course.

Organic Chemistry Boot Camp transfers to UW-Madison as CHEM 344 Introductory Organic Chemistry Laboratory. For all other institutions, contact your institution to determine transferability prior to enrollment.

Organic Chemistry Boot Camp has a special tuition rate that is the same for all students, $795 for the course ($397.50 per credit). Reciprocity is not applicable.
Sessions fill up quickly, so it's recommended to register as soon as possible. If the location you wish to attend is already filled, you can choose to register to be on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available and you are next on the waitlist, you will receive an email notification. You will have three days (or less, as indicated in the email) to respond and accept the open spot.
