One Stop is a convenient, accessible, and solution-centered service to students. Located in room 129 of the University Center next to the Warhawk Connection Center, this office provides one-on-one support to students on the spot, no matter the topic.

Welcome!
Your journey as a Warhawk has just begun, and we encourage you to begin planning your college experience now. A little prep will help you hit the ground running when you need to make some key decisions in the coming months. Starting in October, for example, you’ll be able to indicate you’d like to join a Learning Community when you apply for housing in the residence halls. And ULead and other leadership opportunities will start signing new students up in the spring.

The Warhawk Connection Center, located in the University Center, is where students collaborate, connect, relax or study, or attend one of the weekly programs and workshops.
Pre-college programs
Warning! Incoming first-year students who attend pre-college programs like the Forward Scholars Program, STEM Boot Camp or ULead are likely to form friendships that will last through college — and beyond.
Greek Communities

Club sports and more
From disc golf and esports to water polo, dodgeball and pickleball, you’ll find dozens of club and intramural sports on campus that anyone can participate in!
University Honors Program
This program is for motivated undergrads who seek a challenging and intellectually enriched learning environment. UHP provides small classes and high-impact practices like honors conference participation, special field trips, service learning projects, scholarship opportunities and more.
Musical groups
From Warhawk Marching Band to Gospel Choir to our Symphonic Wind Ensemble, we offer a host of musical groups open to all students, regardless of major!
Campus jobs
More than 2,500 students work on campus every year, staffing the information desk at the UC, giving campus tours and working for the grounds crew — among many other jobs like dining and athletics.
ULead
ULead is a three-day program held in August that helps first-year students get involved on campus, focusing on providing knowledge and experiences that will help them become successful Warhawks!
Setting yourself up for success
Visit One Stop
University Health and Counseling Services provides health, wellness and counseling services on both the Whitewater and Rock County campuses. Many services are offered at no cost to enrolled students.
The Center for Students with Disabilities ensures access and inclusion for nearly 1,300 students with physical, learning, sensory, psychological, health-related, or other disabilities on both of our campuses each year.
The center provides personal finance and money management education. Our financial coaching sessions can help Warhawks better understand finances, create a budget, manage credit, make a plan to pay for college, or understand student loans.
Explore hundreds of possibilities to study abroad at UW-Whitewater. We’ll help you tailor your journey and navigate the process as you develop valuable professional skills and stay on track with your academics.
Pick up your essential Warhawk gear and a host of other items — including gifts, technology tools and snacks — at the University Bookstore. They are open daily during the school year.

Campus tours
