Insurance can be a great tool to make a high-impact gift with a lesser out-of-pocket investment, while providing financial security for your loved ones. There are three common ways to give through insurance:

Name the UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc. as a beneficiary of an existing policy.
Transfer policy ownership to the UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc.
Purchase a new policy to support your cause.

In all cases, you can designate your gift to support a specific fund by documenting your gift by submitting a Letter of Intent for a Future Estate Gift.

UW-Whitewater Foundation’s EIN number is 39-6081189. This can be used on any tax forms requiring documentation of donations to a 501(c)(3) organization.

To avoid any processing fees, you can make a check payable to:
UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc.

Any donation made to the Foundation that does not clearly state the specific fund name will be allocated to the Warhawks Give (Greatest Needs) Fund.
