UW-Whitewater License Plates
Show everyone you are a proud UW-Whitewater alumni with university plates! When you share your purple pride on your bumper, you help spread the word about our great university to the next generation of students.
The annual fee donation goes to support student scholarship programs. This type of donation is collected by the state of Wisconsin and administered by UW-Whitewater. The donation is not processed though the UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc.

Wisconsin plates are available for automobiles, motor homes and private or farm trucks. They are not available for motorcycles.

You can purchase your special plates when you renew your registration, or any time during the year.

The cost is a $15 issuance fee, plus a $20 tax-deductible donation to UW-Whitewater for student scholarships. At each subsequent plate renewal, drivers will pay the annual vehicle registration fee plus the annual tax-deductible $20 donation.

You can order personalized plates for an additional annual fee of $15.

You will receive your plates 3-4 weeks after your application is processed.
