Warhawk Family Resources

Welcome to the Warhawk Family! This is a transition for your whole family, and we're here for you! Please see below for helpful resources.

Warhawks SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising & Registration)

Your student is required to participate in the virtual Warhawks SOAR program where they will meet other new students, learn more about the University, and meet with an academic advisor. Some of the Warhawks SOAR process is available for families as well!

  • Log into the UW-Whitewater app online for SOAR resources. Select the "Family" option to gain access:
  • Complete the online orientation program with your student or on your own as a guest:
  • On your student’s SOAR date, join the following virtual session if you’d like:
    • 10-10:30am: College Connections Session. Learn more about your student’s academic college.
    • Access sessions and departments through the UW-Whitewater app.
  • Your student will have sessions just for them from 9-9:45am and their 30-minute advising appointment between 11am-4:30pm.
  • Within the app, click on the SOAR 2021 folder and "Campus Resources". There you'll find profiles and contact information for over 30 different campus departments.
