Advising takes place in Roseman and other academic buildings, depending on the student's major and number of credits completed.
Each college has unique requirements that need to be met before a student can graduate.
UW-Whitewater offers opportunities to obtain pre-professional work in a number of fields, including Chiropractic, Dentistry, Engineering (Physics), Law, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine.
Credit may be transferred to UW-Whitewater if the grade earned in the course at the previous institution is recognized as a passing grade (D or better) and the course parallels work offered at UW-Whitewater. Students can use the Transfer Information System (TIS) to determine how courses transfer between the UW Colleges and other UW System Institutions.
