Celia Weiss Bambara

Celia Weiss Bambara is a dancer, choreographer, and dance scholar. She is the artistic director of the CCBdance Project, founded in 2006. Her work has been presented nationally in the U.S. and internationally in France, Germany, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad, the Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, Hong Kong, the Middle East, and Canada. Celia has taught at Cornish College of the Arts, University of Illinois, Chicago, Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts, and University of North Carolina, Asheville. She currently serves as Head of Dance and Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.
