Xiwen Zhao

Xiwen Zhao, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Management at the College of Business and Economics. She earned her Ph.D. in Strategic Management at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests lie at the intersection of strategy and organization theory. She draw on cognitive theories to explain how audiences (e.g., investors, consumers) react to firm practices and thereby influence firm outcomes. Her projects involve a variety of research methodologies, including event studies, experiments, text analysis, social network analysis, and machine learning.
