The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) supports faculty and staff in identifying funding opportunities and provides assistance throughout the sponsored project lifecycle, including proposal and budget development, proposal submission, award review, contract negotiation, and award setup. ORSP ensures that award terms and conditions protect the interests of UWW faculty, staff, and students; safeguard the university’s institutional interests; align with UWW’s mission and policies; and comply with applicable state and federal regulations.

Once agreements are in place, ORSP collaborates with UWW Finance and Administrative Division to provide post-award support and ensure that sponsored funds are administered in accordance with award requirements, established terms and conditions, and university policy.
