Welcome to the home page for the Center for Inclusive Transition, Education and Employment (CITEE)- a part of the Division of Student Affairs.

The Center for Inclusive Transition, Education, & Employment supports equity, diversity, and the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in workforce development and all aspects of life. CITEE works to develop and implement high quality programs and best practices for businesses, educational institutions, communities and state partners in order to increase talent acquisition and retention of individuals with disabilities in work and community involvement. CITEE's mission has grown to include the development and support of high quality professional development opportunities and programs designed to increase access to mental health services at all levels of the state.

Dr. Elizabeth Watson (CITEE's Primary Investigator) and Jessica Smith (CITEE's Director) founded CITEE in 2017, beginning with a single statewide project and growing subsequently to encompass 15 regional, statewide, and national projects and programs in 2022. Since being brought under the umbrella of the Division of Student Affairs, the CITEE team has grown to include 14 professional staff, undergraduate and graduate student employees, and graduate social work interns.
