warhawkWarhawk Volleyball Camps

national champions

The philosophy of UW-Whitewater’s youth volleyball camps is to provide quality instruction in all aspects of the game. Participants will receive individual attention from highly skilled coaches and collegiate student-athletes.  An emphasis will be placed on improving individual and team skills in a positive and fun environment.

To maximize the volleyball camp experience, participants will be divided into small groups based on skill testing and will work closely with group members and coaches. Each participant will receive individual training from their coach and camp directors. Groups have limited numbers and all campers will get the opportunity to participate equally.

Our aim is to not only improve the participant’s skill level, but to improve the level of enjoyment for the game. A series of drills, games, and competitive play throughout camp will increase participant’s determination to succeed and desire to play the game. All of these things are what makes UW-Whitewater youth volleyball camps some of the best in the region. We can’t wait to see you this summer!

Warhawk Volleyball Camps are conducted on the beautiful campus of UW-Whitewater. Campers will practice in Russell Arena, Kachel Fieldhouse, and Kachel Gymnasium.  Russell Arena is a recently remodeled arena dedicated to volleyball. With four courts, new flooring and a state on the art sound system, Russell Arena is considered a top facility. The 60,000 square foot Kachel Fieldhouse is one of the finest facilities in the country. It features four volleyball courts and an indoor running track. The Williams Center also offers, a state-of-the-art weight room, and swimming/diving facilities.

Resident Campers

Resident campers will be housed in one of the residence halls located on the UW-Whitewater campus. The residence hall has a secured entrance and the campers are monitored by the residence hall directors, assistants, and by our own camp counseling staff. Rooms are double occupancy only. The bathrooms and showers offer clean, individual stalls for privacy. The residence hall also has lounge spaces with TV, DVD player and a full kitchen for use. Resident campers will have three well-balanced meals each full day. Meals are included in the registration fee.

Commuter Campers

Commuters are campers who elect not to stay overnight in the residence halls. Commuters do not eat breakfast on campus but will be provided with lunch and dinner. Commuters will be able to go to the residence halls between sessions with teammates or friends if they choose.
