APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The table below provides key steps and deadlines for the Faculty Sabbatical Program.   

PROCEDURES

DEADLINES
  • Faculty Sabbatical RFP released / posted to ORSP website

March 5, 2024
  • Applicants prepare applications
  • Applicants meet with ORSP for assistance uploading to Cayuse

March 5 - Sept. 16, 2024
  • Applicants upload complete proposal and any appendices in PDF format into Cayuse and route to Department Chair for approval

September 16, 2024

  • Complete chair-approved applications are routed to Deans for approval

September 23, 2024

  • Dean-approved applications are routed to ORSP

September 30, 2024

  • ADC completes review of all fully approved applications

October 4 - 28, 2024

  • ADC recommendations are sent to the Provost 

November 1, 2024

  • The Provost’s final recommendations are submitted to the UW System Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs

November 2024
  • Notification to applicant

January, 2025

Departments and College Support

Sabbatical applications must be routed through Cayuse for Departmental and College approval. Any applications that are not approved at any step in the process will not be submitted for review by ADC.
