Online/Distance Education Fees

Starting Fall 2021 courses built with Web-based (WW) modality will automatically have added a $50/credit fee, unless service-based pricing applies.  In an additional step at the end of the proof process, departments/colleges will be asked for account information.  In this process, departments must identify which hybrid courses meet the 75% online threshold (by contact hours) in order to have the distance education fee applied. The special course fee approval process will no longer be used for distance ed fees.

Beginning Fall 2022, distance education fees apply to courses with the instruction mode of Online (O), Virtual Classroom (VC), and Limited On-Campus (LC), unless service-based pricing applies. Departments/colleges will be asked for account information at the end of the proof process. The special course fee approval process will no longer be used for distance ed fees.
