The Interfraternity Council serves as the governing body for affiliated men’s fraternities at UW-Whitewater. IFC organizations provide opportunities for brotherhood, leadership development, academic achievement, service, philanthropy, and responsible social engagement.

 

How to Connect

 

  • Attend IFC recruitment or information events.
  • Meet chapter members at campus programs.
  • Ask about expectations, dues, time commitment, academics, and new member education.

The Intercultural Greek Council represents culturally based and identity-centered fraternities, sororities, and societies at UW-Whitewater. IGC organizations foster belonging, cultural awareness, leadership, service, academic success, and connection across diverse communities.

 

How to Connect

 

  • Attend IGC and chapter events.
  • Connect with organizations that align with your identity, interests, values, or cultural learning goals.
  • Ask each chapter about its membership process and expectations.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council represents historically Black fraternities and sororities at UW-Whitewater. NPHC organizations are rooted in scholarship, service, cultural pride, advocacy, leadership, and lifelong commitment to community uplift.

 

How to Connect

 

  • Attend public programs and council/chapter informational events.
  • Research each organization’s history, values, and membership expectations.
  • Membership intake is organization-specific and may not happen every semester.

The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for affiliated women’s sororities at UW-Whitewater. PHC organizations promote sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, service, philanthropy, and personal growth through values-based membership.

  • Participate in Panhellenic recruitment or interest opportunities.
  • Attend chapter and council events.
  • Ask about membership expectations, financial responsibilities, and sisterhood experience.
