International Education Committee

Function

This Committee membership derives from each of the colleges and several administrative units and serves as an advisory body concerning all aspects of international education and programs at UWW. Specifically, the committee advises the university community, the Chancellor and Provost, and the campus offices affiliated with international and intercultural initiatives on campus. The objectives of the committee: 

  1. The Committee will help discern the strategic focus of university international education endeavors and will make specific recommendations to internationalize the campus and the curriculum.
  2. The Committee will serve as a resource for the colleges, curriculum committees and other campus units regarding the integration of international programs into the curriculum and will generally serve as an international education conduit and advocate for collaboration and discussion about international education efforts of the colleges and other units as appropriate.
  3. The Committee will provide advice concerning policies, procedures and guidelines regarding international education activities including, but not limited to, exchange agreements, study abroad, and faculty-led travel study.

  • Faculty director of Office of Global Experiences (Chair)
  • One representative from each of the five colleges
  • One student representative appointed by WSG;
  • One student representative appointed by the International Student Association (ISA)

  • Student Affairs
  • Additional Interested Parties as agreed by the committee
