Shared Governance Committees

At UW-Whitewater, shared governance is one of our six core values. This ongoing commitment ensures that students, faculty, academic staff, and university staff are active participants in the development of institutional policies and procedures, while also serving as an important channel of communication between group representatives and university leadership.

Each shared governance group supports the above-mentioned work through committees focused on topics relevant to their branches. These committees provide members an opportunity to share their expertise and collaborate with one another, which helps shape the future of the UW-Whitewater.

Below are the current committee opportunities available within each shared governance group.
