ARTSTDIO Classes

Studio art classes at UW-Whitewater are reserved for students who have formally declared an art major or minor. The Department of Art and Design requires pre-registration for all studio art courses offered during the Fall and Spring semesters. At pre-registration, permission is given to register for the class section on WINS. Students who are not art majors or minors may take studio art classes if seats are still available after pre-registration and all summer orientations.

ARTHIST Classes

You do NOT need to have declared an art major or minor in order to enroll in art history courses. Many "ARTHIST" classes are designated general education electives (GA).
