Where to find your registration start time

All students are given a designated Registration Start Time. Review your Enrollment Appointment within the "Student Center" page of the WINS system. You will be able to begin registering for classes at your given day and time.

Registration instructions and tips

You can utilize the Schedule of Classes to choose your desired courses based on what is available the following semester. The Schedule of Classes is available each semester from the Registrar's Office.

You can also utilize the Search for Classes link within the WINS System. You can search for up-to-date reports on the availability of specific classes.

  • Log into the WINS System
  • Select Enrollment Date Appointment located on the right side of your Student Center page
  • Select the correct Term and click Change
  • Your Enrollment Appointment date and time should appear

Registration for full-term courses is open through the sixth day of the semester. Even after you have registered, if you wish to change your schedule, you may go back into the system and do so at any time during this period.

How to Register

  • Log into the WINS System
  • Within the "Academics" heading, click on the 'Enroll' link
  • Next to "Select Term", click on the drop down box and select the correct term
  • Search for Class. Click 'SEARCH'
  • Specify the 'Class Search Criteria' and click 'SEARCH'
  • From the 'Class Search Results', click 'SELECT CLASS' for the selection of the course you are requesting
  • Verify the course that you are adding and click 'NEXT' to proceed
  • Next, click 'PROCEED TO STEP 2 OF 3' to confirm the course(s) that you are about to request enrollment into
  • Click 'FINISH ENROLLING' to complete the enrollment process

Why can't I get this class?

You may find that you want to take a course that WINS will not allow you to take. Many reasons could exist in these cases. Some common reasons could be related to:

  • A hold on your record
  • A time scheduling conflict with another course for which you have registered
  • You may not have met the pre-requisite for the course
  • While the class may appear to be open on WINS, it can be identified as a reserved section by the "X" or "H" next to the section number. It may be a class that is reserved for a student in a specific Learning Community or Honors Community of which you are not a member.

SPECED 205 03X (X = Learning Community)
COMM 110 45H (H = Honors)
