Are you a student-athlete? Do you want to learn how to balance academics and athletics successfully? Join Rising Warhawks II today!
The Rising Warhawks II learning community focuses on helping individual students transition to college and identify strategies to balance life as a student-athlete. Students are introduced to educational opportunities and resources to promote awareness of and engagement with campus resources and support systems. Specific focus is placed on career and major exploration, social responsibility, campus engagement and leadership development. Students take coursework together for their first year and live in Wells Hall East.

Who can I live with if I join this Learning Community?

  • You can live with anyone who has a housing assignment in Wells East (including athletes not in a learning community)

Available for:

  • Fall Sport athletes (Football, Men and Women's Tennis, Men and Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Cross Country) nominated by their coach

  • Freshmen English (English 90 or 101 placement is determined by English ACT Score), Math 41 or 141 (Placement is based on UW System Math Placement Test Score), New Student Seminar (Intraunv 104)
