Prepare for an Appointment

Preparation is key to a successful meeting with your advisor. When you are meeting with your advisor you should have ALL the materials that are applicable for that appointment, such as:

Things to bring to your Pre-Advise appointment

1. Print a copy of your Academic Advising Report (AAR) from the WINS system
2. Your copy of Windows to UW - Whitewater
3. Your planner or calendar
4. Pen or pencil and paper
5. Questions for your academic advisor

Things to bring to your Advise appointment

1. A COMPLETED Class Planning Worksheet for the following semester
2. Print a copy of your Academic Advising Report (AAR) from the WINS System
