Amal Ibrahim is an Associate Professor at the Communication Department at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Dr. Ibrahim received her PhD in Communication from the Department of Communication at Georgia State University in 2005. Dr. Ibrahim’s research and scholarship agenda include areas such as Digital Communication, Feminist Media and Communication Studies, Digital Advocacy, Middle Eastern Media, and International/Intercultural Communication. She authored and co-authored book chapters, journal articles and numerous conference papers, nationally, regionally and internationally. During her twenty-five-year career as a communication and media studies educator, Dr. Ibrahim had taught at several universities in the US and the Middle East using diversified methods and modalities. Dr. Ibrahim teaches Broadcast Journalism, Video Production, Persuasion, Media and Society, Advocacy and Influence, Media Effects, Cross-Cultural Communication, Technology, Globalization, and Communication.
