LIFE CAMPUS TOURS

Visiting campus is a great way to learn more about the UW-Whitewater LIFE Program and experience what inclusive college life looks like in action. The LIFE Program offers a variety of tour options throughout the academic year.

Open House

The LIFE Program Open House is the primary recruitment event for prospective students and families. It provides an in-depth introduction to the LIFE Program.

Open House is typically held in late September or early October and offers a comprehensive overview of the program. It's strongly recommended for families who are beginning to explore the LIFE Program.

During Open House, you will:

  • Attend a brief presentation about the LIFE Program
  • Hear directly from current LIFE students and ask questions
  • Participate in a guided campus tour

Guests are welcome to join students for lunch following the tour.

Visit Day

Visit Day is a mini version of the Open House. It's a morning event designed to introduce prospective students and families to the LIFE Program.

Visit Day opportunities are limited and offered at select times throughout the academic year. The next Visit Day is scheduled for April 17, 2026.

Event details:

  • Time: 9:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Location: James R. Connor University Center

Group Tour

Groups of 10 or more who are unable to attend Open House or a Visit Day may request a customized Group Tour through UW-Whitewater Admissions. When scheduling, please indicate your interest in the UW-Whitewater LIFE Program, and Admissions will tailor the experience accordingly.
