Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation (https://www.mygreatlakes.org/) will enable UW-Whitewater to continue to serve approximately 60 Wisconsin students in the summer residential program and approximately 100 Wisconsin students in a complementary academic year program.

Students entering 9th through 12th grade by fall of the upcoming school year are eligible.
This program has a strong math and science focus and includes development of student research and presentation skills, scientific and technological inquiry, and examination of natural resources and sustainability. Students will prepare for the ACT, complete college preparation classes in a wide variety of subjects, and review career options.
This program will include intensive instruction in math, writing, and science; development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, researching academic journals, and developing academic writing skills to create college-level writing.
Enrichment components will engage students with speakers, workshops, field trips, and career information sessions to facilitate academic success.
