ABOUT

Jennifer Petersen is an Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations at UW-Whitewater. She teaches courses primarily related to Developmental Psychology. Dr. Petersen completed her doctorate in psychology at UW-Madison. Her research focuses primarily on the development of gender and gender stereotyping in girls and young women. This research interest has resulting in publications on girl's sexuality, peer sexual harassment, disordered eating, and girl's involvement in science and math careers.
