Next Steps

Be sure to complete the following:

Check your UW-W email address

Your UW-Whitewater email address is your formal communication with the university. All bills, notifications, confirmations and emergency updates will be sent via email, so be sure to check your UW-W email often! We encourage you to install it on your smartphone. Your username is your Net ID which was included on your admissions letter.  For the first time you log-in, your password is your 7 digit student id number.

Take the Math Placement Test

The Math Placement Test (MPT) is required of all new students without previous college-level coursework. Be sure to take your Math Placement Test prior to coming to Warhawks SOAR as your registration in a math course and other courses with a math prerequisite (i.e. computer science, biology, social sciences, etc.) depends on it.  For more information and to register for a placement test, click here or contact the UW-Whitewater Testing Office at 262-472-5613.

Submit your housing contract

Submit your signed housing contract with your $125 deposit to University Housing as soon as possible.  Access the housing contract here:
