Plan-It Purple

At this program, you will:

  • Get to know other new Warhawks
  • Learn important information about the campus to help you prepare for your education at UW-W
  • Connect with an academic advisor to discuss your academic options
  • Register for your classes for the semester
  • Begin building connections that will help you become a successful student

Plan-It Purple is required for all new students and is a full day program. You must participate in the entire program in order to register for your classes. When completing your Plan-It Purple registration, please select a date which will alllow for your full participation for the duration of the program.

Plan-It Purple Registration

Beginning on March 1, students planning to attend UW-Whitewater in the Fall 2016 semester will need to register for Plan-It Purple. Please register for Plan-It Purple once you have committed to attending UW-Whitewater as the registration fee is
NON-REFUNDABLE ($90 for student and $15 per guest).

There are ten Plan-It Purple programs for new freshmen for the Fall 2016 semester.
Please make arrangements to attend one program: 

                                 Friday, June 3, 2016 (registration deadline May 29 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Wednesday, June 8, 2016 (registration deadline June 1 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Friday, June 10, 2016 (registration deadline June 5 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Tuesday, June 14, 2016 (registration deadline June 7 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Friday, June 17, 2016 (registration deadline June 12 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Tuesday, June 21, 2016 (registration deadline June 14 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Thursday, June 23, 2016 (registration deadline June 16 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Monday, June 27, 2016 (registration deadline June 20 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                 Wednesday, June 29, 2016 (registration deadline June 22 at 11:59pm or until filled)
                                
 Wednesday, July 6, 2016 (registration deadline June 28 at 11:59pm or until filled)

How to register for Plan-It Purple (beginning on March. 1)

1. Log on to WINS                                                                                                       
2. Click on "Student Center" (left side panel)
3. Click on "UWW Applications"
4. Click on "Plan-It Purple"
5. Click on "Reserve a Date"

If a session that is your preferred session is closed, register for an alternate session and continue checking your WINS account because students may change sessions and seats may open and close daily based on those changes.

If you are planning to attend UW-Whitewater in the Spring 2017 semester, Plan-It Purple will open on Oct, 1 2016.

UWW EMAIL ADDRESS

Your UW-Whitewater email address is your formal communication with the university. All bills, notifications, confirmations and emergency updates will be sent via email (you can not forward your UWW email to another email account). You must check your UWW email daily. We encourage you to install it on your smartphone.

Enrollment Deposit

New UW-Whitewater undergraduate students are required to pay a one-time $100 enrollment deposit. This deposit remains on account during your enrollment at the university. The deposit is never applied to your fees, rather it rolls forward to the next term as a deposit for that term. It is refundable upon request when you separate from UW-Whitewater. You will pay this when you register for Plan-It Purple.

ACT/SAT and PLACEMENT SCORES 

Only those who have submitted their ACT/SAT scores to the Admissions Office and have taken and submitted thier math placement scores will be eligible to enroll in ALL of their classes at Plan-It Purple.  To check the status of your ACT/SAT scores, please check your WINS self-service account. Should you have additional questions regarding the submission of these scores please contact the Admissions Office at 262-472-1440.
