Favorite thing about my role: My favorite thing is 100% the people. I love working with different people and helping students develop their skills. I greatly enjoy advising Jitters and LIT and working with those students to make Wells a fun and welcoming community.

Kaitlyn has been a part of the UWW community for 9.5 years, and she is going into her 3rd year as a Complex Director. Kaitlyn loves that UW-Whitewater feels like home! As an undergrad student, Kaitlyn quickly realized that our staff truly cares about the success and well-being of our residents and are continually looking for ways to improve the experience that our residents have while living on campus- and that still stands true today. As a Complex Director, Kaitlyn has enjoyed getting to work alongside students and having the opportunity to learn their stories – what led them to campus, what they’re getting involved in on campus, etc. and then seeing them grow during their time on campus and seeing them move onto the next chapter after graduation. Kaitlyn has learned a lot from the students that she’s interacted with over the years, and she’s looking forward to continuing to learn from them this next year as well.

Aaron is starting his third year here at UW-Whitewater.  Aaron’s favorite thing about his role at UWW is how much of a gift it is being able to wake up and do the work that he does alongside so many amazing people. The folks here at UW-Whitewater have become something of a family to Aaron, and he wouldn't be who he is today without each and every one of them.

John’s favorite thing about UWW is that the value and opportunities UWW offers are competitive to the top colleges in the nation. Seldom can speak about their institution the way we can speak about Whitewater, this is why John has chosen to do his Undergrad, Grad, and now his career at UWW.
