Looking for a place to unwind and have a blast? Warhawk Alley has you covered! With ten lanes of bowling, seven Brunswick billiards tables, video games, air hockey, ping pong, board games, yard games, and more, there’s something for everyone!

Located on the lower level of the University Center, Warhawk Alley is the perfect hangout spot for students, staff, and members of the community. Whether you're looking to compete, relax, or just have a good time, we've got it all!

Open seven days a week during the academic year, Warhawk Alley is FREE for all enrolled UWW students with a valid HawkCard. For any accommodations or questions, feel free to reach out to us!

Reservations

Enjoy bowling, billiards, ping pong and video games! 

How many bowling lanes should I book?

  • 1-5 bowlers = 1 lane/1 time slot
  • 6-10 bowlers = 2 lanes/2 time slots
  • No more than 2 time slots can be booked by one person or group. Have a group of 10 or more? Call (262) 472-5681 for group bookings.

All student organizations and campus departments must book their event through Warhawk Alley by emailing WarhawkAlley@uww.edu or calling (262) 472-5681.

Event / Party Reservations

As Warhawk Alley is a student-fee funded facility, we prioritize open recreation and student organization/group reservations.  Warhawk Alley will do our best to offer a variety of walk-up time slots along with group reservation times.

  • Recognized UWW Student Organizations or groups may book up to 4 lanes, per hour for FREE, during peak times and up to 7 lanes during non-peak times. 
  • Groups booking more than 4 lanes during a peak time, or more than 7 lanes during a non-peak time may be charged a small fee of $15.00 per hour. This fee covers additional staffing for your event and guarantees your reservation time.
  • To avoid additional fees, we recommend booking during non-peak times (option 1) as listed below.

  • $20.00 per lane, per hour (includes shoe rental) 
  • $3.00 per game and $2.00 per person for shoe rental

    • $250 for 2 hours
    • Yard games available for an additional $25

Non-Student Pricing

UW-Whitewater guests and community members can enjoy Warhawk Alley's great rates seven days* a week!  Campus-Affiliated groups or departments receive discounted rates. For more information, please contact Warhawk Alley.

Leagues and Teams

Warhawk Alley is not only a recreational center, but is also the home to nationally ranked men’s and women’s NCAA and USBC intercollegiate bowling teams, billiards club, and student bowling leagues.

Limited storage is available by semester and is offered first come, first served. There is no cost for storage for UWW students. Ball bags are limited to one bag (three-ball bags or smaller) per person.

The UW-Whitewater women’s bowling team has been nationally ranked since bowling became an NCAA Intercollegiate Sport in 2003. The women’s bowling team has enjoyed three trips to National Collegiate NCAA Nationals (DI, DII and DIII) 2013, 2014 and 2015, two National Semi-Finalist Finishes (’14 and ’15). The Warhawks finished as a National Semi-Finalist in 2021 at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.

The UW-Whitewater Men’s Bowling Club won the 2025 ITC Championship in Las Vegas, NV. The Men’s Bowling Club is a national top 10 program each year with bowlers from all over the country making up the team. The team won the National Club Championship in 2019, 2021, and 2022.

By renting yard games from Warhawk Alley, you acknowledge responsibility for returning all items, in the same condition as received, within 24 hours of checkout time. How to find Warhawk Alley in the University Center

Directions from the North Side of Campus (near Minneiska Springs)

  1. Enter the University Center through Door 7.
  2. Turn right and go down the staircase next to Roberta's Art Gallery.
  3. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left to enter Warhawk Alley.

  1. Enter the University Center through Door 16.
  2. Walk down the main walkway until you reach Roberta's Art Gallery.
  3. Turn left at Roberta's and go down the staircase
  4. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left to enter Warhawk Alley.

Directions from the East (UW Credit Union/Summers Auditorium)

  1. Enter the University Center through Door 4.
  2. Follow the walkway to "The DUB."
  3. From "The DUB," take a slight left to reach the ramp.
  4. Take the ramp past the "Down Under" performing stage, up to Warhawk Alley.
  5. At the end of the ramp, turn left to enter Warhawk Alley.

How to get to the University Center

Driving with GPS

For accurate directions, enter 190 Hamilton Green Way, Whitewater, WI 53190 into your GPS. Follow parking instructions for lot 12 or 12A. Use the south side of campus entrance for the University Center.

Driving without GPS

From the East: Continue east on Main Street, turn left onto Prairie Street. Take the second left onto Hamilton Green Way (Parking Lot 12). Follow the bend to reach Lot 12A and use the south side of campus entrance to the University Center.

From Downtown: Head west on Main Street, turn right onto Prairie Street. Take the second left onto Hamilton Green Way (Parking Lot 12). Follow the bend to reach Lot 12A and use the south side of campus entrance to the University Center.

From the North: Travel south on County Road N (Tratt Street), turn left onto W Starin Road. At the four-way stop, turn right onto Prairie Street. Take the fourth right onto Hamilton Green Way (Parking Lot 12). Follow the bend to reach Lot 12A and use the south side of campus entrance to the University Center.

From the South: Head north on Janesville/Franklin Street. At the Main Street intersection, turn left, then take the next right onto North Prairie Street. Take the second left onto Hamilton Green Way (Parking Lot 12). Follow the bend to reach Lot 12A and use the south side of campus entrance to the University Center.

Free Parking: Available in all UWW campus parking lots from 5 PM Friday to 11 PM Sunday, including Lot 12A near the University Center.

Weekday Parking: Follow campus parking regulations.
