Learning for the Ages

An early writer on adult learning theory sought to distinguish between how younger people learned and how older people learned. Since then, we have learned that virtually all learning efforts are improved when more active and experiential elements are involved.  This started with a desire to better engage adult learners but has now spread throughout learning efforts in much of K-12 and higher education as well. Join us for a talk with Dr. Werner and learn about how he has put these efforts into practice in his undergraduate, master's, and DBA courses at UW-Whitewater, as well as when he taught at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
