Assessing Literacy to Strengthen Literacy
Do you want to become more confident in your ability to assess where your learners are at in their confidence and skills with reading and writing? This is a course designed to provide experience in the use of formal and informal assessments to plan, implement, evaluate and revise instruction to meet the needs and interests of readers in your classes who are not yet confident or reading at their fullest potential. Meeting the literacy needs of children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds is emphasized.
