WI-WIOA Career Interview Project
.
The WI-WIOA Career Interview Project is a partnership between the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's Center for Inclusive Transition, Education and Employment (CITEE) program and the Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) to provide services under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
UW-Whitewater has a contract with the Wisconsin DVR to provide interviews to all employees paid less than minimum wage. Interviews are scheduled according to the state fiscal year, July 1 - June 30 each year, in accordance with our contract with DVR. We may refer to this period as the interview cycle or interview year. The interviews are provided to help employers and employees comply with federal law. This is not research.
If you would like to talk to someone about Wisconsin's WIOA policy interpretation and guidance, you may find the contact information for your local Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) office here. For information on WIOA career interview requirements, visit the DWD/Department of Vocational Rehabilitation's website. For information on WIOA policy, please visit the federal Department of Labor or call the Wage and Hour Division's toll-free help line at 1-866-4USWAGE (1-866-487-9243). TTY: 1-877-889-5627.
