Strategic Planning and Budget Committee (SPBC)

Committee and Chair Charge

The Strategic Planning and Budget Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor and other university administrative officers regarding University strategic plan and priorities, policies, and budget processes. The SPBC will ensure that the institution learns from its operational experience and applies that learning to its planning and goal setting as it seeks to continuously improve its institutional excellence, effectiveness, capacity and sustainability. 

Membership of the SPBC will be comprised of faculty, academic and university staff, students and administrative leaders from across campus (see attached). Because the membership of SPBC has been constructed as representative of various campus stakeholders, members will be responsible for communicating SPBC updates and discussions to the groups that they represent. 

The SPBC will be co-chaired by the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs.
