Brian Lucas is a Lecturer in the Communication Department at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He teaches various courses in the Electronic Media emphasis, including Fundamentals of Audio, Advanced Audio Production, Studio Production, Radio Practicum, and Cross-Cultural Communication Travel Study. He also occasionally teaches Introduction to Public Speaking, Publication Photography, and Introduction to Mass Communication.
In addition to teaching, Brian is the Director of Radio for 91.7 The Edge, the student-run campus radio station. The station has a variety of music programming and has sports programming that includes both live sports and a daily sports talk show.
His professional experience includes live sound engineering and studio engineering, including recording, mixing, and mastering. Brian is also an active gigging musician.
