You can sponsor a registrant with a gift certificate and cover all or partial fees. Give an event at UW-Whitewater as a gift, award or for professional development to any registrant(s) you choose. We have received requests in the past from schools, companies, organizations, friends and family members that would like to send their chosen registrant to an event. They would like to sponsor them financially, but are not the guardian (if registrant is a minor) and/or do not have all the details we need to register them for the event. If you choose to support a registrant, we will send you a gift certificate with a promo code for them to use to register and send an invoice to you after they attend the event or we can invoice you sooner, if needed (gifts, before fiscal year end, etc.).

Note: Due to confidentiality, we will only be able to share the name and school of the registrant attending who uses the sponsor's promo code. Additional information cannot be shared with the sponsor.
Your online registration and payment are always safe and secure. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit card payments in our online registration system. We will NOT accept credit card payments over the phone. We will accept checks made out to "UW-Whitewater" and mailed to UW-Whitewater Camps and Conferences, 800 West Main Street, Room 2005 Roseman Hall, Whitewater WI 53190.
Confirmation Emails
Once you register to attend an event (including waitlisted), a confirmation email will be sent to your email account. Contact cesevents@uww.edu if you do not receive this confirmation email. You must have a working email address on file with us to be able to receive important announcements and updates about this event.
We will contact you via email to verify the details of your sponsorship. Once we have the correct details, we will provide you with the promo code you may give to the registrant. The registrant will need to go to our website and register online for the sponsored event. They will use the promo code at check out and the fees you are covering will be removed from their bill. They will be responsible for any payments left over, if any.
Full payment of sponsorship is required 20 days prior to the event for individual sponsors and gift certificates. If you no longer want to sponsor an individual using your promo code, we will remove your promo code and charge the registrant(s); you will not be responsible for payment. Individual sponsorships will follow event refund and cancellation policies listed on the event websites.
Corporate sponsors will be emailed 20 days before the event happens to verify enrollment and that you still want to provide a scholarship. If you no longer want to sponsor an individual using your promo code, we will remove your promo code and charge the registrant(s); you will not be responsible for payment. Corporate sponsorships will follow event refund and cancellation policies listed on the event websites.
After the event is over, we will notify you of the attendance of the registrant(s) you sponsored and send you an invoice for payment. If you choose to use a credit card we will provide a link to the account holder to submit payment. If you decided to use a wire transfer, we will contact the account holder regarding payment information. If you decided to use a check, we will request that the account holder send payment made out to UW-Whitewater to Camps and Conferences, 800 West Main Street, Roseman Hall Room 2005, Whitewater, WI 53190. Please include on the check in the memo line the name of the event and registrant supporting.
Each event has a maximum number of registrants we can accept. Should the event you want to sponsor a registrant for be full, we will contact you to see if you would like them to attend another event; if you do not, we will cancel your request and you will not be responsible for payment to any other event the registrant may choose to attend.
