The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics (CoBE) is pleased to welcome Dr. Nacef Mouri as Associate Dean for Accreditation and Special Projects and as a tenured full professor of marketing.

Mouri brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, faculty development, international accreditation, and marketing scholarship. Throughout his career, he has held academic leadership positions at institutions in both the United States and abroad, leading initiatives focused on academic quality, faculty success, and student learning.

In his new role at CoBE, Mouri will lead the college's accreditation efforts, oversee special projects, and support strategic initiatives that advance the college's mission and long-term priorities. He succeeds Dr. Kelly Delaney-Klinger, who retired in May after many years of dedicated service to the college.

Prior to joining UW-Whitewater, Mouri served as Associate Dean for Faculty and Accreditations at Rabat Business School in Morocco, where his responsibilities included faculty strategy, academic quality, and international accreditation. Rabat Business School holds accreditation from both the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).

Earlier in his career, Mouri held faculty positions at George Mason University, the College of Charleston, and the University of Central Florida. His teaching experience spans undergraduate, graduate, and executive education courses in marketing and business strategy. His research focuses on marketing strategy, leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and organizational performance.

"Nacef's experience leading accreditation efforts and advancing academic quality at internationally recognized business schools makes him an excellent addition to our leadership team in the College of Business and Economics," said Paul Ambrose, Dean of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics. "His collaborative leadership style, global perspective, and commitment to continuous improvement align closely with CoBE's strategic priorities. We are pleased to welcome him to the college and look forward to the contributions he will make to our faculty, our students, and the continued advancement of CoBE."

For Mouri, joining UW-Whitewater represents an opportunity to bring his experience to a college with a strong focus on student success and applied learning.

“What attracted me to UW–Whitewater and CoBE was the combination of a strong academic reputation, a clear commitment to student success, and a culture of continuous improvement,” Mouri explained. “CoBE has a long-standing record of excellence in business education, and I was particularly drawn to the opportunity to contribute to a college that values both academic quality and meaningful engagement with students, faculty, and the broader community. I was also struck by the collegiality and sense of community among the people I met throughout the recruitment process. I saw an institution with a strong foundation and an ambition to continue moving forward, and that made the opportunity particularly exciting to me.”

As Associate Dean for Accreditation and Special Projects, Mouri will help guide CoBE's accreditation effort and strategic initiatives while working alongside faculty, staff, and students to support the college's continued growth and success.
