Teachers Have Class

Are you interested in exploring Elementary And Early Childhood Education majors?

Did you know that the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater was originally founded as a teacher college? Now UWW offers over 70 majors, but our teacher preparation program remains one of the best in the state. This learning community is designed for freshmen considering an elementary education or early childhood major. We'll explore what it means to be an excellent teacher and we'll discuss practical advise for getting in to the College of Education and Professional Studies.

Students in this learning community will be pre-enrolled in high demand courses including Special Education 205: Psychology of the Exceptional Child and General Education 130: The Individual and Society.  We'll also get to know one another through fun activities like movie nights, game nights, and pizza parties.
