Support for University Desktop Operating Systems
Level 1-Full Support (Current Version):
ITS provides full support for operating systems in this category. ITS staff can be expected to have in-depth knowledge of these operating systems.
Level 2-Limited Support (Supported Versions):
Level 2 operating systems are those that are nearing the end of their life cycle, or those that are beginning their life cycle. They are either moving toward Level 3 or Level 1. ITS will do its best to provide limited support for these operating systems. ITS staff can be expected to have varying levels of expertise with respect to Level 2 operating systems.
Level 3-Little or No Support (All Others):
ITS provides no support outside of responding to general questions and assigning IP numbers.
