Notifies departments of the risks that may impact university assets and provides a framework for recognizing, evaluating, and managing these risks.
Working in Isolation (Policy #701)
Establishes the approval process and risk evaluation framework for employees working in isolation, in compliance with UWSA Policy 620: Working in Isolation.
Accident Reports-Worker's Compensation (Policy #702)
Outlines the procedure for all employees, faculty, classified, and students to report workplace accidents promptly to their immediate supervisor and complete the appropriate accident reports.
Agent Liability Protection (Policy #704)
Provides liability protection for university officers, employees, and designated agents acting within the scope of duty. Coverage does not apply to the general student and volunteer body or the activities in which they are involved.
Insurance Coverage on Borrowed Items (Policy #710)
Establishes insurance coverage expectations for personal or borrowed property used on campus. The university may provide limited coverage for borrowed items when approved through the Office of Risk Management & Safety.
Service Vehicle/Off-Road Vehicle Operation Policy (Policy #718)
Provides guidelines for the appropriate use of service stalls and access drives to ensure authorized vehicles can utilize these spaces, with the goal of reducing off-road driving and promoting campus safety.
Utility Vehicle Operation by UWW Employees (Policy #724)
Establishes rules for the management and safe operation of utility vehicles by employees of the university and on university property. This policy does not apply to any vehicle licensed for operation on Wisconsin roadways or heavy equipment (i.e. backhoes, bulldozers).
Hearing Protection Program Procedure (Policy #726)
Identifies the necessary processes regarding distributing hearing protection for students, faculty, and staff within the Music Department and the Audiology Department.
Hearing Protection Program Acknowledgement Form (Policy #726.1)
Provides an acknowledgement form for students to sign, confirming they have received a pair of hearing protective earplugs for their music/audiology course.
Gifted Services for Facilities Policy (Policy #740)
Assures that both the donor and university receive the maximum benefit of any gift, and both are adequately protected against all potential obligations and liabilities.
Facilities and Grounds (Policy #741)
Ensures the safe, effective, and appropriate use of UW-Whitewater’s facilities and lands in support of the institution's educational mission, in accordance with Chapter UWS 21.
Fleet Management Procedure (Policy #753)
Outlines expectations for all UW-Whitewater employees, volunteers, and students utilizing personally assigned vehicles, pool vehicles, work shared vehicles, and/or other university vehicles for university-related purposes.

Youth Protection and Compliance (Policy #771)
Protects minors engaged in Covered Activities, which include, but are not limited to, programs, events, camps, clinics, workshops, symposia, conferences, tournaments, meets, clubs, projects, competitions, internships, job shadowing, mentoring, lessons, coaching, tutoring, field trips, lab visits, pre-college programs, and service-learning placements.
University & External Fiscal Auditor Relationships (Policy #772)
Establishes the procedures that UW-Whitewater will follow to cooperate fully with external auditors in the performance of their duties. In exchange, the university requests that external auditors observe certain procedures to facilitate orderly review.

Wisconsin Open Meetings Law Procedure (Policy #774)
Wisconsin’s Open Meeting Law (WOML) requires each meeting of a government body to be preceded by public notice in accordance with Wis. Stat. § 19.83 (1). This applies to every meeting of a government body whose purpose is to engage in government business, and/or when the number of members constitutes a quorum.

Provides a meeting agenda template for governance bodies, academic departments, and subunits to use. Outlines compliance expectations for each group in accordance with Wisconsin’s Open Meeting Law (WOML).
Records Management Procedure (Policy #788)
Provides UW-Whitewater employees with uniform guidelines for the retention and disposition of public records in accordance with records management policies and best practices.
