Laurentide Hall

The Laurentide Hall project was unique because it was the first extensive renovation of a campus building where LEED guidelines were used in the reconstruction.  There were significant changes made to the HVAC systems in the building and a relatively innovative chilled beam cooling technology was installed.  Even some elements of the building envelope were modified to accommodate a greater degree of daylight penetration since Carlson Hall suffered greatly from poor daylighting due to its original small window design.
